AB 1153 – Funding Clean Streets Act
Illegal dumping costs East Bay communities millions of dollars each year and falls hardest on our historically underserved neighborhoods. AB 1153 expands upon existing response by allowing CalRecycle to deploy dedicated funding to remove and dispose of abandoned RVs, developing local enforcement strategies, and supporting illegal dumping enforcement teams, backed by a coalition that includes the City and County of Alameda, the East Bay Municipal Utility District, and Californians Against Waste.
